Enabling dreams and empowerment

Promoting talent of Karama Muduli, a Bonda tribe girl from Malkangiri who realised her dreams and overcame poverty through PACE Foundation to score top in +2 Commerce with 82.66% in the year 2022 and carried on her graduation studies by funds from PACE Foundation. Now her aspirations in becoming a Civil Servant or Chartered Accountant, the PACE foundation has secured her employment in the company as “Assistant Accounts Officer” Her story is a testament to determination and resilience.
Team PACE Foundation sponsored Ms. Dipali Naik from Jodumu Village, Narsinghpur, Cuttack, enabling her to compete in the National Arm Wrestling Championship held in Nagpur.She showcased exceptional talent, securing third place and earning a spot at the national level. Additionally, the PACE Foundation extended its support for her participation in the International Arm Wrestling Championship in Delhi, fostering her journey toward greater achievements.

Confidence building with smile through theatre :-

The PACE Foundation in collaboration with Pinkwood Creations, uses theatre to build children’s character and teach them history. At Odisha Parba-2024 in New Delhi, a stage play titled “Biplabi Bajia” was showcased in line with the bravery of Baji Rout, a 12-year-old martyr of India’s freedom struggle which was performed by children of Saraswati Sishu Bidya Mandir . The play captivated the audience, celebrating the spirit of courage and sacrifice.

Empowering youth

 Exposure visits play a crucial role in career counseling, especially for students and youth from rural areas, as it open doors to new opportunities and broaden horizons.
The PACE Foundation was established to foster meaningful engagement with the community across various facets of life. In line with this vision, Team PACE Foundation organized an exposure visit to the Indian Coast Guard station in Paradip.Our heartfelt gratitude to the Indian Coast Guards for hosting this inspiring visit aboard the ICG patrol vessel VIJAY. This initiative aims to introduce the youths to the exciting career opportunities available in uniformed services, such as the Coast Guard.
Team PACE Foundation participated in an interactive workshop on heat waves, coastal economy, pond conservation, and green skiing at the Odisha Conference of Youth (OCOY) 2024 on conservation of nature through sustainable agriculture practices. Our farmers are on the frontlines of climate mitigation, nurturing the land while ensuring food security

Driving Ecology Restoration :-

Team PACE Foundation, in collaboration with the Forest, Environment & Climate Change Department of Odisha, initiated a large-scale plantation drive in Badamba Block, planting over 10,000 saplings of various fruit-bearing and non-fruit-bearing trees, Indian Kino, Date palm, Gambhari Tree, Banyan Tree, Ashvattha Tree, Button Tree, Pongamia Tree, Neem Tree, Amla Tree, Guava tree, Mahul Tree, Wood Apple, Harida Tree, Golden Tree & many more.
PACE foundation team also supported the “Tree-man Bijaya Jena “ with his innovative drive for plantation and watering of plants on daily basis for conservation of nature by setting up a portable water tank in an auto rickshaw to accomplish his drive .PACE Foundation supports the responsibility of taking care of our environment through various social activities .

Inclusivity

In a groundbreaking initiative to promote organ donation and celebrate the resilience of transplant recipients, the Transplant Champions League (TCL) 2025 was successfully held at Kalinga Stadium, Bhubaneswar. Jointly organized by PACE Foundation and Raghunath Pradhan Foundation, the event brought together transplant recipients, donors, donor families, medical professionals, and supporters in a vibrant showcase of sporting activities, wellness sessions, and inspiring stories. TCL 2025 aimed to transform perceptions, promote awareness, and honor the real heroes behind the gift of life.

Team PACE Foundation, visited the “Rajadhani School for the Deaf” and the “Louise Braille School for the Blind” in Bharatpur, Bhubaneswar, to engage with visually and hearing-impaired students. Upholding its commitment to social welfare, our team distributed sports equipment to empower specially challenged ones in inspiring sportsmanship and athleticism, encouraging students to view Paralympic athletes as role models .

PACE Foundation recently set up a Smart Classroom for all the students of the Department of Sociology in B.J.B Autonomous College, Bhubaneswar promoting their education using smart technologies. This initiative equips more than 180 under graduate students with modern learning tools, interactive educational content, and digital resources, enriching their understanding of sociological concepts and fostering an engaging learning environment.

Supporting Green Initiatives: Livelihood Alternatives- PACE Foundation’s Contribution

As part of the collaborative efforts, LA- PACE Foundation has extended a
helping hand to Sh Bijay kumar Jena. He has been selflessly working for a green
planet. As a first step of collaboration, LA – PACE Foundation, has provided a
mounted tank so as to ease the process of watering plants.

‘Voice of Farmers: Odisha@2036’
A workshop was organized by Livelihood Alternatives, a social enterprise working with farmer- groups, SHGs and Youth of Odisha. The workshop was organized in collaboration with Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan and Socratus Foundation as knowledge partners. The event brought together over 200 farmers from 17 districts, representing over 45 Farmer Producer Companies (FPCs) across different agro-climatic zones of Odisha.
The primary objective of the workshop was to align with the vision of Viksit Odisha @2036 and to formulate a comprehensive roadmap reflecting the challenges, aspirations, and opportunities of Odisha’s agrarian community. It served as a platform to amplify the voices of farmers, facilitate inter FPO dialogue and integrate their insights into future agricultural policy and planning. The workshop was an attempt to make agriculture an aspirational enterprise for the new generation of farmers. Key themes of discussion included input and production management, post-harvest challenges, market linkages, and the growing impact of climate change on agriculture.
The workshop was graced by a host of distinguished dignitaries, including Dr. Kamal K. Tripathy, Joint Secretary of the Economic Advisory Council to the Prime Minister; Dr. Bibhu P. Nayak, Professor at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences and Member of the Odisha Finance Commission; Prof. Sukanta Nanda and Prof. Subhakant Pati from IIT Bhubaneswar; Dr. Ramesh Biswal and Ms. Surekha Routray, noted social entrepreneurs.
The discussions and deliberations captured the various deficiencies, challenges and also opportunities in the agriculture sector of Odisha. The workshop represented an experiment in grassroots planning. The outcome would be a comprehensive report to be mentored by the participants from the domain of academia, research, policy making and industry.

MGM Bio- fuels CER initiative at Baudh in association with PACE Foundation
As part of its commitment for environment and community, MGM Bio- fuels has initiated a programme connected with soil health in Harabhanga block of Baudh district. Foundation for Promoting Action in Community Empowerment ( PACE Foundation), is the implementing the project on the ground.
Recognizing the importance of soil health, the initiative seeks to promote sustainable practices for the agrarian community. Soil collected from the individual fields of the farmers was tested in the agri- laboratory of SOA University. The workshop in the university was organized to create awareness on soil health based on the parameters captured on the soil health card . The experts spoke to farmers on the importance of soil health and its implications on the future of agricultural practices. The workshop also, contributed in making farmers understand the right quantity of fertilisers to be used so as to reduce cost of cultivation. A total of 500 farmers will benefit from the initiative.
The expected outcomes are – promoting sustainable agri- practices and increasing income of farmers by reducing input costs. This initiative is in consonance with corporate ESG / SDG obligations.
